Our Philosophy of Education
Rooted in the conviction that Scripture is the ultimate source of truth and that Christ is Lord over every area of life, Valleydale Classical Academy employs a Classical Christian method of education to teach students both what to learn and how to learn—reasoning logically, communicating clearly, and discerning wisely rather than merely memorizing information. Through the integrated study of God’s Word and God’s world, students are immersed in truth, goodness, and beauty while developing authentic understanding.
We believe education thrives through the partnership of the home, church, and school—a three-legged stool within a Christ-centered classical community that supports parents in their God-given responsibility to disciple their children. Recognizing that each student is uniquely created in the image of God, we seek to meet students where they are, investing in them individually while nurturing wisdom, virtue, character, clarity, and a lifelong love of learning so they may faithfully serve Christ in every area of life.
